The CALICO Story
Twin sisters Jeannie and Susanne were born and raised on California’s central coast. They share a deep love for the area and community. In 2019, they founded Calico Trading Co. as a creative side project, combining their entrepreneurial skills and passion for sustainable fashion.

Fun fact: The “Calico” in Calico Trading Co. originally had nothing to do with cats! When deciding on a business name, Jeannie and Susanne wanted something personal to them. “Calico” comes from Calico Floral, a small business their parents started when they were little.
